The author talks about the present situation, problems, causes and countermeasures of urban management in streets and communities in our district. First, the current situation of streets and communities in urban management There are 8 streets and 57 communities in our district. In the current urban management system, they bear the important links of two-level government, three-level management and four-level network. The main functions of the street are: 1. Organize and guide all units and community residents within their jurisdiction to actively participate in various activities of urban management. 2, organize the implementation of urban management tasks assigned by the superior, coordinate the working relationship of each unit within the jurisdiction. 3, formulate and provide funds for urban management activities, do a good job of security and service. 4. Complete the management of other cities within the jurisdiction. Main functions of the community: 1. Under the guidance of the street, organize community residents to actively participate in various activities of urban management through autonomy. 2. Carry out various mass activities, educate community residents to abide by social morality and consciously resist all kinds of bad social customs. 3. Maintain a good environment for the community through mass autonomy. 4. Initiate and organize residents to actively support and participate in the urban management rectification activities carried out by the streets. Thanks to the efforts of the street and community organization network, the urban management in our district has achieved good results. Various streets and communities have also created their own urban management characteristics. Two. Problems and Causes of Streets and Communities in Urban Management Streets and communities have played many positive and irreplaceable roles in urban management and contributed to beautifying the urban environment. However, with the rapid development of urban construction, the requirements for urban management are getting higher and higher. The problems existing in streets and communities have restricted the development of urban management to a higher level to some extent. The main problems are: 1. The management concept of big cities is backward, lacking the mental state of keeping pace with the times, confined to streets and communities, satisfied with the status quo, without new working ideas and low enthusiasm. 2. Can't correctly handle the relationship between economic development and urban management. Street leaders mainly focus on economic work, without putting urban management in an important position, forming a situation that what is important cannot be done. 3. Human and financial resources cannot be effectively integrated and utilized. Repetition and waste often occur. The main reasons for these problems are: 1, lack of overall concept. Clarify the responsibilities of streets and communities. Re-divide the functions of street work and separate economic work from street work responsibilities, which will be managed by the district. The main work of the street is urban management and community service, and all the funds are allocated by the district. The street is responsible for formulating the urban management work plan and organizing the implementation of various urban management work. The main work of the community is to organize and educate the residents, do a good job in self-management, self-education and self-service, abide by public morality, and improve and perfect the Autonomy Charter, the Residents Convention and the * * * Convention. 3. Further integrate the human and financial resources of streets and communities.
