Under the model of "three-level government and four-level management (service)", the sub-district office is undoubtedly the lowest executive body. In addition, as an agency of the higher-level district and county governments, its administrative and financial powers are limited, but its responsibilities are enormous. Just like a little friend said: there are thousands of lines above and a needle below. So sparrows are small, but they have all kinds of organs. Generally, district and county governments have corresponding management functions in sub-district offices, ranging from regional stability, enterprise services, people's livelihood security, engineering construction to sanitation, city appearance and environment, vehicle parking and property management.

Salary and treatment. In the past, when there was a function of attracting investment, the treatment of sub-district offices would be higher than that of municipal and district units. However, with the institutional reform in my area, this function of the sub-district office has been cancelled; Coupled with the adjustment of civil servants' salaries and subsidies, it has decreased. Municipal and district organs and units constantly standardize and improve treatment, so street offices are basically the same as municipal and district units and have no advantages.

Promotion space. This is that different people have different opinions. Some people think that "no one is an official in the DPRK", while others think that gold always shines. I only said reality. After the institutional reform was completed, the original ten departments were integrated into eight offices, and the level of section chief was reduced by five. Even if it is "queuing for fruit", the fruit is less and the team is not shortened. This is embarrassing. Some intimate friends are also telling the truth. It's good to be a section chief in a neighborhood office. If you can be a place pair place in one place, it will be rare. Therefore, what you can often see is the deputy director and director in their 40 s and 50 s. Relatively speaking, the municipal and district levels are relatively high, and there is more room for promotion. When the salary is related to the rank, it is often easier to improve the income and treatment.

Importance. There is a saying that neighborhood offices are still highly valued. Because street offices are close to residents and understand the reality, any policies and measures of cities and districts need to be implemented by street offices, and regional contradictions need to be solved by street offices. If we don't pay attention to street offices, then many policy programs can't be implemented at all. As the nearest government agency (institution), residents pay more attention to the street office, and the first reaction when encountering problems is to find the street. Of course, there are often neighborhood committees at the front. Of course, the attention mentioned by the subject probably refers to whether it will be promoted and reused. My own opinion is that there is such a possibility, and there are indeed such colleagues around me. The superior unit was just short of manpower, and the leader thought he was good. Finally, he left the neighborhood office and went to other units. But this kind of thing is rare. It depends not only on the individual's own work ability and opportunity, but also on the attitude of the leader.

I don't know if the subject is simply curious about the work of the street office or is about to enter the grass-roots post, or for other reasons, so this question will be raised. But from the above points, is there a future for the work of the street office? I mean, there is no future.

However, in four years of grassroots work, I also have another experience. Deal with practical problems, resolve complex contradictions, complete specific tasks, exercise, learn and improve in the process of contact with the most ordinary residents of society, feel the warmth of human feelings, listen to the voices of the grassroots and experience life. When you are in your twenties, it is undoubtedly a rare opportunity to do something and study hard. In the past four years, I have traveled to every street, every community and every park and green space. It can be said that my understanding of these square kilometers has surpassed the small village where I grew up. Of course, I hope I can have the opportunity to work in a higher institution, no matter the level or income. However, before that, cherish every opportunity in the post, calm down and study, deal with emergencies, treat people with things, write words and so on. At the same time, adjust your mentality, don't aim too high, don't underestimate yourself, and you can grasp it when you have the opportunity to go to a higher stage; When you have the courage to walk out of this besieged city, you can have the courage to leave; If you have a peaceful mind and do it silently at the grassroots level, you can also ensure that you can have the life you want.
