Occupation category is a systematic division and classification of social occupations based on the identity of work nature.

China's occupational classification structure includes four levels: big category, middle category, small category and fine category, which reflect the occupational categories from big to small in turn.

As the most basic category in China's occupational classification structure, subdivision is occupation.

Social occupations in China are divided into 8 categories, 66 middle categories, 4 13 subcategories and 1838 occupations.
