Hangzhou, a city full of historical and cultural atmosphere, is about to usher in the Asian Games. On September 8, the launching ceremony of the torch relay for the Hangzhou Asian Games was officially held, and the torch relay route started from the World Cultural Heritage West Lake in Hangzhou. This 5.2-kilometer route shows the beauty of the West Lake to the fullest.

Brief introduction of Jinyong Park:

Jinyong Park: the starting point of the torch relay and the intersection of tranquility and vitality. A vibrant park, located at No.27 Nanshan Road/KLOC-0, Shangcheng District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, is a small scenic spot in Hubin District, one of the five scenic spots of West Lake. The main attractions are Gu Yong Golden Gate, Yongjinchi, Jinniushui and Jinyong Bridge.

The Jinyong Pool in Jinyong Park was recorded in the Song Dynasty's "Yunshan is full of banknotes", and there were Taurus in ancient times, hence the name. There is also a statue of Zhang Shun in the Yongjin Pool in the garden. Zhang Shun is one of the 108 generals in the novel Water Margin in the late Yuan Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty. Known as "White Stripes in Langli", he once fished on Xunyang River for a living, and later came to Liangshan, Shui Bo, where he made many exploits.

Huancheng West Road:

Ancient and modern blend, cultural accumulation. The West Ring Road along the torch relay witnessed the development history of Hangzhou, and also witnessed the development history of Hangzhou. Hangzhou Huancheng West Road is the seat of Hangzhou West City Wall, with a total length of 1, 664 meters. It is one of the most important main roads in Gongshu District and an important channel connecting one lake and one river (Hangzhou West Lake and Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal).

Scenic spots along Huancheng West Road are: Zhejiang Great Hall of the People, located on the north side of Huancheng West Road. The facade of the building opposite the Great Hall of the People is dark window frames and white walls, which is very elegant.

Beishan Street:

The precious wealth of historical and cultural heritage came to Beishan Street along the torch relay route. Hangzhou Beishan Street starts from Baodi Road in the east, Shuguang Road in the west, West Lake in the south and Baoshishan, Geling and Qixialing in the north.

There are many ancient buildings and cultural heritages with a long history here. The main attractions of Beishan Street are Yuefei Tomb (Temple), the industrial exhibition hall of the first West Lake Expo, and a large number of modern Chinese and western buildings such as Qiushui Villa, Guyun Caotang, Yun Jian Villa, Baoqing Villa, Jingyi Villa, Suilu and Agate Temple.
