According to Paragraph 1 of Article 12 of the Law on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases and Paragraph 8 of Article 4 of the Operational Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of novel coronavirus Epidemic in Residential Property Management Areas (Trial) 1, the property management company has the obligation to keep the information of the isolated personnel confidential and shall not disclose it to the public or distribute it privately, including room number and name. However, property management companies should do a good job in the collection and summary of epidemic prevention and control in the property management area, report in time according to the unified requirements of the community, cooperate with relevant government departments to collect and provide information on personnel needed for epidemic prevention and control, and after verification and analysis by relevant government departments, announce it to the public according to the provisions of Article 38 of the Law on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases.

Legal basis: Article 12 of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases. All units and individuals within the territory of People's Republic of China (PRC) must accept the investigation, inspection, sample collection and isolation treatment of infectious diseases by disease prevention and control institutions and medical institutions, and provide relevant information truthfully. Disease prevention and control institutions and medical institutions shall not disclose relevant information and materials involving personal privacy. Where the administrative department of health and other relevant departments, disease prevention and control institutions and medical institutions illegally implement administrative management or prevention and control measures and infringe upon the legitimate rights and interests of units and individuals, the relevant units and individuals may apply for administrative reconsideration or bring a lawsuit according to law.
