What is the compensation standard for trapped elevator property?

Being trapped in an elevator for more than 2 hours will reach the accident standard, but the specific punishment depends on the accident situation. Elevator accidents are divided into general accidents, major accidents and particularly serious accidents, but generally no major or particularly serious accidents will occur.

Staying people for more than 2 hours is a general accident, and the maximum fine for the responsible unit can reach 200,000, but this fine is an administrative punishment for the responsible unit. If the elevator accident causes personal and property damage, the responsible unit shall pay compensation for medical expenses according to the injury. But if there is no substantial harm, there is no question of applying for mental compensation or other compensation.

Article 1 198 of the Civil Code of People's Republic of China (PRC). Operators, managers or organizers of mass activities in hotels, shopping malls, banks, stations, airports, stadiums, entertainment places and other business places shall bear tort liability if they fail to fulfill their security obligations and cause damage to others.

If the behavior of a third party causes damage to others, the third party shall bear the tort liability; Operators, managers or organizers who fail to fulfill their security obligations shall bear corresponding supplementary responsibilities. Operators, managers or organizers may claim compensation from a third party after assuming supplementary responsibilities.

Article 18 of the Regulations on Safety Supervision of Special Equipment, if the elevator car stays for more than 2 hours, it is a general accident, and the responsible unit can be fined from 654.38 million yuan to 200,000 yuan.

Article 64 of the Regulations on Safety Supervision of Special Equipment is a general accident under any of the following circumstances:

(1) Three people died or 10 people were seriously injured due to the accident of special equipment, or the direct economic loss was more than100000 yuan and less than100000 yuan;

(2) toxic medium leakage from pressure vessels and pipelines, resulting in the transfer of more than 500 people 1000 people;
