China Unicom Beijing Branch Shuangmiao Mobile Base Station is located at the top of the 5th floor of the Hardware Leather Factory at the northeast corner of Dingxiuxinyuan, Pomegranate Village, Fengtai District, Beijing. In mid-April, 2005, residents of Area 6 in Longjinyuan, Huilongguan discovered that a launch tower appeared on the top of an unfinished six-story building just outside the south wall of the community. As the tower is within 500m of Fiona Fang, including dozens of residential buildings in Area 6 and Area 2 of Longjinyuan, and some residential buildings in Area 4, Longyueyuan 1 and Area 2 of Longjinyuan, there is E08 community under construction on the east side of the tower. In May 2005, the industrial committee of the community filed a lawsuit in court, requesting the court to order the defendant to immediately stop the infringement, dismantle the antenna, restore the original state, and compensate 50,000 yuan.

In recent years, disputes between owners, villagers and operators about base station radiation have occurred frequently. After the base station is built and put into operation, it will inevitably produce corresponding electromagnetic radiation. Some surrounding residents are worried about the adverse effects of electromagnetic radiation on their health, or think that the antenna of the base station will destroy the "feng shui" of the village, and so on. Operators refuse to dismantle the base station, causing disputes.
