Legal basis: Article 16 of the Measures for the Administration of Urban Domestic Waste in People's Republic of China (PRC), units and individuals shall, according to the requirements of the designated place and time, put domestic waste into the designated garbage container or collection place. Large pieces of garbage such as waste furniture should be placed at the designated collection place according to the specified time. In areas where classified collection of municipal solid waste is implemented, units and individuals shall, in accordance with the prescribed classification requirements, put domestic waste into corresponding garbage bags and put them into designated garbage containers or collection places. According to this regulation, the garbage is put into the designated garbage container or collection place by the producer himself, and then cleaned by the property or municipal garbage removal department. Property companies don't need to collect garbage at home.
