Laws and regulations on elevator maintenance

Article 2 of the Special Equipment Safety Law

This Law is applicable to the production (including design, manufacture, installation, modification and repair), operation, use, inspection and testing of special equipment and the supervision and management of special equipment safety. The special equipment mentioned in this Law refers to boilers, pressure vessels (including gas cylinders), pressure pipes, elevators, lifting machinery, passenger ropeways, large amusement facilities, special motor vehicles in the field (factory) and other special equipment to which this Law is applicable according to laws and administrative regulations.

Article 35 of the Regulations on Property Management

The realty service enterprise shall provide corresponding services in accordance with the stipulations of the realty service contract. The realty service enterprise fails to perform the realty service contract, causing personal and property safety damage to the owner, and shall bear corresponding legal responsibilities according to law.
