1. Urban water supply enterprises shall regularly inspect and maintain urban water supply facilities such as special reservoirs, water diversion channels, water intakes, water sources, wells, pumping stations, water plants, pipelines, gates, fire hydrants, water meters and public water stations to ensure safe water supply.

2. It is forbidden to build any buildings, structures, pile up materials or engage in other activities that endanger water supply facilities within the safety protection distance specified on the surface and underground of urban water supply pipelines and their ancillary facilities.
