2. Humen Port Logistics Base. Humen Port has built 23 wharves 123 and 207 berths, with a total length of 1.3 million meters. At present, Humen Port has completed the strategic planning of logistics system development in Humen Port of Dongguan. Projects under construction include eight petrochemical storage terminal projects, including Port Avenue, No.5 and No.6 container berths in Shatian Port Area, PetroChina Tongda Oil Depot in Lisa Island and grain depot directly under the province. Among the 1593 logistics enterprises registered in our city, there are 1388 transportation and freight enterprises, accounting for 87% of the total logistics enterprises. The function of modern logistics is to design, implement and manage the logistics demand in customers' supply chain, which is characterized by providing logistics management and services that customers need at the lowest cost based on information and logistics expertise. Due to the lack of talents and management ability to carry out related business, only a few enterprises in our city can provide high-level logistics value-added services such as overall logistics scheme design, inventory management, logistics cost control, whole-process tracking feedback and product return management.

3. Low level of logistics management and technology.

The function of modern logistics service has not been well played, and it has not played its due role in supporting the industrial upgrading of our city.

Our city has a superior geographical position, a solid manufacturing base, a huge consumer population, a perfect transportation network, and huge logistics demand and development potential.
