Brief introduction of Wujiang district

Wujiang District is a district under the jurisdiction of Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province. It is named after Wujiang River in the upper reaches of Beijiang River in the Pearl River system, commonly known as "Hexi". Wujiang District is located in the north of Guangdong Province, at the southern foot of Nanling Mountains, between 1 13 06' 00 "east longitude and 1 13 34' 00" north latitude. It is bordered by Wujiang River and Beijiang River in the east, across the river from Zhenjiang District in the east, Baitu Town in Qujiang District in the south, Ruyuan Yao Autonomous County in the west and Lishi Town in Zhenjiang District in the north. In Wujiang District, Jianglin Road, Wuhan-Guangzhou High-speed Railway, Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway and National Highway 323 pass through the territory. Roads, electricity and telecommunications are available in both urban and rural areas in this area. Wujiang District, with the construction real estate industry as the leading industry, has built Country Garden Sun City, Evergrande City, Exhibition Flower City, Jin Zeyuan, Hongzhou Garden, Nanfeng Bishui Flower City and other large commercial residential quarters.
