Dear President Qin, leaders, experts and colleagues,

Hello everyone!

On the occasion of bidding farewell to the old year and welcoming the new year, we gathered together to hold the "Second Esophageal Cancer Seminar and Linzhou Hongqi Canal Esophageal Cancer Forum". On behalf of the Party Committee of our hospital, I would like to express my deep condolences to all my colleagues who have worked hard in the front line of diagnosis and treatment of esophageal cancer in recent years and my heartfelt congratulations on the brilliant achievements made in these years!

In terms of esophageal cancer, we have accumulated hundreds of thousands of cases of diagnosis and treatment experience. Building this platform is to let experts exchange their valuable experience in the field of diagnosis and treatment of esophageal cancer for decades, so as to improve. Its purpose is to "inherit the culture of esophageal cancer, carry forward the spirit of forest doctors, and create a new image of' national demonstration base for diagnosis and treatment of esophageal cancer'", and achieve the purpose of "relying on brands, publicizing departments, recommending experts, driving new people, connecting the preceding with the following, and benefiting patients".

Here, I would also like to express my heartfelt thanks to the hospital leaders who took time out of their busy schedules to come to the venue and give on-site guidance, and to all colleagues who have supported the development of esophageal cancer-related disciplines for many years!

The achievements in the diagnosis and treatment of esophageal cancer can not be separated from the strong support of the hospital party Committee and the active cooperation of various disciplines. With the rapid development of science and technology today, there are still many unknowns and barriers behind the achievements, and we still need to learn from each other, explore each other and cooperate with each other. We should respect the concepts of comprehensive treatment and evidence-based medicine in order to achieve good results.

Today, our hospital has integrated many experts and scholars in the treatment of esophageal cancer, which can be described as a collection of talents. We have reason to believe that through this meeting, we will have great academic enthusiasm, which will enable us to make by going up one flight of stairs in the diagnosis and treatment of esophageal cancer.
