How to prevent extreme cold weather and property water pipe burst

First, if there is no heating in the room and the temperature is low, it is best to wrap cotton cloth and other insulation products on the tap water pipe;

Second, if there is no one for a long time, you can turn off the water valve before going out, and then turn on the faucet to let out the remaining water in the tap water pipe;

Thirdly, if the temperature is too low and drops to minus 10 degrees Celsius, you can turn on the faucet slightly at night to let the water flow in the water pipe to avoid water freezing.

Once the water pipe is frozen, you can blow it with a hair dryer, or wrap it with a towel, and then slowly pour in warm water. Never bake it with fire or scald it with boiling water, it will explode. If there is still no water flowing out of the inverted pipe, it means that the water meter is frozen, then wrap a hot towel on the water meter and pour warm water to thaw it.
