Shenzhen Architectural Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. was established in 1982. With the development of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, it has grown from a design studio with only dozens of people to a large national first-class design institute with more than 2,700 employees directly under Shenzhen in 20 13. Headquartered in Shenzhen, the first "design capital" in China, it is located in Design Building, No.8 Zhenhua Road.
