The First Red Regime in the Soviet Area of Northeast Jiangxi —— The Red Fortress of "Simenshan" in Baitian Township, Guixi.

Baitian Township is located in the northeast of guixi city. There are more than 600 revolutionary martyrs in the township, including more than 300 martyrs who died heroically in the red fortress of Simenshan.

The red fortress of "Simenshan" in Baitian Township was the first red regime established in the Soviet area of Northeast Jiangxi under the leadership of President Fang Zhimin, which lasted for eight years. In the fifth counter-campaign against "encirclement and suppression", it was precisely because of the traitor's informer that he lost power.

19 comrades in the fortress stubbornly resisted until they blew up the fortress and died with the enemy.

In order to commemorate the revolutionary martyrs, 1952, a martyrs monument was built in the former site of the red fortress of "Simenshan".
