Cangyanshan is in the south of Hujiatan Village (now Cangyanshan Town) in Jingxing County, 40 kilometers away from Jingxing County. Bali Station, the main peak, is 1, 044.6 meters above sea level, and is known as "the five mountains are beautiful, and the Taihang peaks are only pale rocks". Cangyan Mountain has been a famous mountain in Zhao Yan since ancient times. There are not only wonderful natural scenery here, but also famous temples, so it is designated as a national key scenic spot in 1989.

The scenery of Cangyan Mountain consists of a specific landscape skeleton. The mountain is divided into two peaks, east and west, facing each other; A ridge between the north and the south spans the back; In between, there is a huge valley and a deep stream with a wall of 100 feet. The cliff at the bottom of the ravine is semi-grotesque, with jagged rocks, gurgling streams, lush white sandalwood, vigorous ancient cypress, winding dangerous piles and towering ancient temples, just as Qiao Yu, an official in the Ming Dynasty, wrote in his poem Huai Yuan Rui: "The two peaks are opposite, and the bird path goes back and forth." Ten thousand robbed the Zen room, and the ghost axe hit it. "

The wonderful natural scenery of Cangyan Mountain is integrated with the quaint temple architecture. Mountains, cliffs, rocks, forests, springs, streams, and pavilions * * * together constitute the ancient pavilion of Yan Guan Suocui, Feng Quan Washing Jade, College Noon Shade, Bijian Lingtan, Hanging Ladder, Cliff Inlaid Beads, Bridge Hall Flying Rainbow, Cliff Huilan and Shangshu.

Virgin of Cangyan

The original Zhigong Temple, North Temple and Fuqing Temple in Cangyan Mountain. The first two temples have been destroyed, and only Fuqing Temple remains today. Fuqing Temple was originally named Xingshan Temple. It is said that it was built in the Sui Dynasty. After the overhaul of Song Zhenzong in the seventh year (10 14), it was given a plaque and renamed Fuqing Temple. The temple was built on a cliff, and the ancients had the praise of "Wanjing is close to the valley and Wanfeng is on the arch".

The main hall of Fuqing Temple is the "Princess Hall", which is built in the middle of Xifeng Cliff, facing east in the west, leaning against the precipice inside, facing the precipice outside, three rooms wide and two rooms deep, resting at the top of the mountain, with a single eaves and glazed tiles. Transpiration in the clouds, light smoke fills the air, and it looks like the Vatican Palace for a long time. If it is looming, the "secluded empty pavilion" in the sixteen scenes of Cangyan Mountain refers to.

Princess Temple was built in Jin Dynasty, formerly known as "Princess Rongzhen Hall of Yang Miao". According to legend, Emperor Wendi of Sui Dynasty had three daughters, and the youngest daughter was named Yang Miao, who was called "Three Empresses". Yang Miao is beautiful and clever, and the Queen Mother likes her very much. One day, Emperor Wendi wanted to try Yang Miao's literary talent, so he said a pair of couplets: "Embroidering the toes of the phoenix, dancing the shoes of the phoenix" and asked Yang Miao to make a pair of couplets. Yang Miao blurted out: "Fan painting dragons playing in water, fan shaking dragonflies". Emperor Wen called it wonderful. Yang Miao's cleverness made the two sisters very jealous and embarrassed Yang Miao everywhere.

Later, Yang Miao contracted tinea, which was incurable. At night, he dreamed that the Buddha told him that there was a divine spring in Cangyan Mountain in Jingxing, Hebei Province, and it could be cured by bathing with it. Yang Miao said goodbye to his parents and went to Cangyan Mountain. After a day's bath, he fell asleep, rode his horse in a trance and went to the sky outside the clouds. He witnessed the death of the Buddha and saw the joys and sorrows of the world from the mirror. After the Buddha became enlightened, he decided to become a monk and practice to free himself from the mortal world. Yang Miao recovered quickly after waking up and decided to cut Nieber's hair.

It is a disgrace to the royal family for the princess to become a monk. The queen tried her best to persuade her, but Wendi reprimanded her severely. It was useless and she had to agree. Princess Yang Miao went to Cangyan Mountain. On the way, when he lived in Nanhua Temple, he was caught in a fire. It is said that Wendi sent eunuchs to save the emperor's dignity. The princess was rescued from the fire by the white tiger and rode on Cangyan Mountain.

Emperor Wen set fire to the Buddhist temple, which angered the Buddha and brought disaster to the palace. The queen is covered with pustules, which cannot be cured by long-term treatment. One night, the Buddha dreamed that the sore needed his daughter's hands and eyes to boil soup before it could be cured. When the two princesses Chang Heji heard that they wanted to show their eyes, they all refused. When Yincui gorge learned this, she resolutely offered her hands and eyes. After the emperor recovered from his illness, he built a "Xingshan Temple" (later renamed Fuqing Temple) for the princess in Cangyan.

This anecdote was quoted in the inscriptions describing the temple before Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty. During the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, Yan Jiaju, the magistrate of Jingxing County, thought that Emperor Wendi of Sui had only two daughters, and there was no record of them becoming monks. According to the Biography of Princess Nanyang in Sui Shu, Yang Di's daughter Princess Nanyang is a monk. At the age of fourteen, she married Yu, the second son of Xu Guogong and Yuwen Shu. Yu's younger brother was killed in Jiangdu (now Yangzhou) and returned to the north with the princess. Captured by the Dou Jiande army on the way. Princess Nanyang decided to cut her hair for Nepal because her family was ruined. Yan Jiaju thinks that the princess of Fuqing Temple in Cangyan Mountain is a monk who refers to the princess of Nanyang. As soon as this was said, Nanyang replaced Yang Miao. It is said that Princess Nanyang treated the people in Cangyan Mountain, accumulated virtue and promoted goodness, and was responsive. People are respectfully called "the mother of pale face", commonly known as "grandma".

Climb over the tiger

When you enter Fuqing Temple, you can climb the stairs along the stream. Halfway past the Eight Immortals Hall, there is a small temple in which the princess sits like a statue riding a tiger. It's called "Climbing the Tiger". According to legend, Wendi sent someone to burn Nanhua Temple, and the princess was surrounded by fire. Suddenly, a white tiger came from Nanshan, carrying the princess to Cangyan Mountain. The white tiger is not good at handling, so he threw the princess to the ground when he jumped into the ditch and crossed the stream. At this time, a hairy monkey came and laughed at the tiger's incompetence. The princess stood up from the ground and said, "the tiger has its virtue in saving me;" Throw me to the ground, I have no ability, I can't blame with a smile, I can only tame it. " She looked around and saw a cave in the middle of the mountain. The hole is narrow, but wide and flat, which is a good place to train tigers. The princess ordered the long-haired monkey to ride the tiger 72 times in the cave, and the tiger's knack of carrying goods greatly improved. Then the monkey led the way, and the princess crossed the tiger and climbed Cangyan Mountain. Later generations named Nanshan Cliff Half Cave "Tiger Taming Cave". The tiger later got into a cave in the east peak of Cangyan Mountain. In order to commemorate the contribution of the tiger, people named this cave "Tiger Cave". Later, the monkey stayed in Cangyan Mountain and listened to the princess on the "dangerous platform" every day. According to Jingxing County Records, there were hundreds of monkeys in Cangyan Mountain. During the temple fair, monkeys will squat on the cliff to watch the fun.

Grow a real soul on the immortal stone

The ancient trees at the bottom of Fuqing Temple in Cangyan Mountain are towering, among which Dalbergia is the most peculiar. Many Dalbergia trees are more than a thousand years old and have different shapes in different places: some are born in cracks in rock walls, and their branches are horizontal, as if welcoming you with open arms; Some hang under the cliff, such as an upside-down umbrella; Some are born among rocks beside the stone path, with roots like giant pythons holding stones and drilling seams, and there are many gallstones. What is even more surprising is that the small white sandalwood is still relatively straight. Once it grows up, its heart is empty and its trunk is open, but it is still lush and has become one of the wonders of Fuqing Temple. People named thousands of exotic Dalbergia trees at the bottom of the valley "Bijian Lingtan". "Rainbow arm become warped wanqingcang, Long Gen embrace the sun to explore purple light. Don't envy the red cliff, don't love fertile soil and poor hills, have no heart and no skin, and don't like yellow. The predecessors vividly described the ecology, habitat and personality of Dalbergia odorifera.

Why is Dalbergia odorifera hollow and skinless? Legend has it that when the princess climbed Tiger Mountain, white sandalwood on the roadside extended branches to welcome her. Unexpectedly, the branch hooked the princess's skirt, and the princess said smoothly, "Dalbergia! It's rude of you to plot against me while others are in danger. One day I will gouge out your heart and skin you! " Although the white sandalwood was wronged, the princess's words have been exported, and the white sandalwood of Fuqing Temple in Cangyan Mountain has since become a hollow and skinless holy tree. It is said that "every layer of skin has not taken off its roots" and "the immortal stone has planted a real soul".

"Grandma Cangyanshan, the photos are far away."

Pass through Tiantong Cave from the west side of Princess Temple, that is, the top of Daxi Peak. On top of it, there are three or five farmers, terraces, the sound of chickens and dogs can be heard, and the fruit forest has considerable scenery. Its scenery is called "Xanadu". There is a hill here called "Zhizhan Cangshan". There is a story circulating in the local area. In ancient times, there was a monk named Zhigong (according to historical records, Zhigong, a native of Jinling, surnamed Zhu and Ming Baozhi, became a monk in Daolin Temple at the age of seven, majoring in Zen, and later became one of the eighteen arhats). Before the princess went up the mountain, she had been to Cangyan Mountain. Seeing the beautiful scenery of Yamazaki, she wanted to build a temple here, so she inserted her sword into the mountain as a symbol. After the princess climbed Cangyan Mountain, she learned that Zhigong had occupied the land first, but she didn't want to leave, so she had a plan: she buried an embroidered shoe under Zhigong's sword. The latter two had an argument and dug a mountain in front of everyone to see who had something first. After digging out Zhi Gong Jian, there are princess embroidered shoes below. Zhigong was helpless and left angrily. Later, I went to Luantai opposite Cangyan Mountain and built Zhigong Temple. The princess occupied Cangyan Mountain and finally achieved a positive result, and was honored as "grandma" by the world. The local people all know the secret of grandma's occupation of the mountain, and sympathize with Zhigong, but the good men and women who are far away in Cangyan Mountain don't know the details of it, and they especially worship it. This is the origin of "Granny Cangyanshan, the photo is far from close".

Qiaodian Hong Fei

The Qiaolou Temple in Fuqing Temple is the strangest and most beautiful scenery in Cangyan Mountain. Visitors here are amazed at its wonderful structure. According to the gold tablet in the temple, during the reign of Jin Dading (1162-189), Gong Yan, a Zen master of Tianning Temple in Pingding Prefecture, Shanxi Province, visited Laifuqing Temple and saw the monk pilgrims "it is very inconvenient to come to the southwest and go to the north", so he proposed that "the road is very inconvenient" After multi-party fund-raising and joint fund-raising, an empty stone arch bridge with a depth of more than 40 meters and a width of only a few meters was finally built on the cracked stream, and then a temple was built on the bridge, so it was called "Qiaolou Temple".

Qiaolou Temple is not only a communication bridge between the deep stream in Fuqing Temple and the north and south, but also a unique scenery among the famous temples in the sea. Tourists look up from the bottom of the ravine, the bridge looks like a rainbow, and the temple looks like the Vatican Palace. "The embroidered wall is divided into two, and the sky is like a rainbow." (Liang Shi, a famous figure in Qing Dynasty) "thousands of feet Hongqiao looks at the details, and Yunfei crosses the bridge in the sky." (Three poems by Wu Yun, a famous poet in the Qing Dynasty) Someone described it this way: "The bridge builder at the Shuangya fault is like a rainbow driven away by the sky. Looking up at loneliness and prosperity, I suspect that I am going to Tiangong. " For example, if you climb the Qiaolou Temple along the 360-step "hanging ladder", you can see a cursive couplet hanging in front of the temple: "There is no light in front of the temple, and the mountain gate is not locked by Yun Fei." Because it is located halfway up the mountain, cliffs stand on both sides, and there is a crack in the middle, and clouds gather, and the halls and pavilions are looming. If the arch bridge stops, it really feels like the fairy palace. "You can't see the road by the railing, and you can't see the endless hidden glow."

Qiaolou Temple in Cangyanshan, Hebei Province

It is said that the project of building bridges and temples is quite arduous, especially cutting coupons and making stones on a deep stream more than 40 meters deep, which makes Master Zhijian very worried. Fill the soil, where did you get so much soil on the mountain? Filling stones, if you want to cut mountains and cut stones, will destroy the feng shui in the temple. Frame the wood, but I'm afraid it won't hold. A year passed quickly. It was a cold day on March 9, and Master Zhijian was pacing under the cliff. He suddenly looked up and saw that the water dripping from the cliff at the head of the ditch formed a huge icicle. Master suddenly realized that if the stream is filled with firewood, the spring water will freeze, which is labor-saving and strong. When the bridge is built in winter, the freezing in the warm firewood in spring and summer will naturally melt, which is the so-called "firewood freezing method". Qiaolou Temple is a masterpiece of ancient architecture in China. Whether it is site selection, gardening or bridge-building skills, it can be called "ingenuity and ingenuity".
