According to the provisions of Article 2 of the Measures for the Administration of Property Service Charges

The term "property service fee" as mentioned in these Measures refers to the fees charged by property management enterprises to the owners for the maintenance, conservation and management of houses and supporting facilities and related sites, and for maintaining the environmental sanitation and order in the relevant areas.

Shops and houses have different purposes. As a direct communication channel with the outside world, the management of shops is much more difficult, and the facilities and equipment of shops are more than those of residential properties, and the electricity consumption is also relatively large. The maintenance of HVAC, fire protection, security and electricity is also more professional and comprehensive, so the property management fee of shops is also more expensive than that of houses.
