How to calculate the floor area ratio?

Floor area ratio = total floor area above ground ÷ planned land area

For example: 1000 square meters yard, you changed to a 7-meter-high two-story building with 300 square meters on each floor.

Floor area ratio =300x2/ 1000=0.6

The large plot ratio shows that the larger the building area of this community, the more residents and population there are in the corresponding community, and the more buildings there are, the denser the buildings are. The lighting is not very good and the property is not easy to manage.

So when we usually buy a house, we try to choose a smaller floor area ratio.
