10 June 17, Taiyuan Urban Management Bureau issued the Implementation Plan for the Pilot Project of Fixed-point Direct Transportation of Domestic Waste in Taiyuan (hereinafter referred to as the Plan). "4+2" garbage classification mode

"4" refers to recyclables, kitchen waste, harmful waste and other wastes, and "2" refers to bulky wastes and decoration wastes.

Recyclable refers to the solid waste suitable for recycling, mainly including scrap metal, waste plastics, waste glass, waste paper pieces, waste fabrics and so on.

Kitchen waste refers to organic solid waste which is easy to rot and deteriorate under ordinary storage conditions. Among them, kitchen waste I mainly includes waste oil; Class II kitchen waste mainly includes raw meat residue, leftovers and bones. The third kind of kitchen waste mainly includes vegetable leaf residue, melon and fruit residue, etc. At present, the classification of domestic waste in Taiyuan is mainly the first and second categories of kitchen waste, and the three categories of kitchen waste do not need to be separated.

Hazardous waste refers to solid waste that directly or potentially harms human health and the natural environment, mainly including batteries, fluorescent tubes, light bulbs, mercury thermometers, paint buckets, some household appliances, expired drugs and expired cosmetics.

Other garbage refers to domestic garbage other than the first three items, mainly including ceramics, muck, toilet waste paper, paper towels and other wastes that are difficult to recycle, as well as fruit shells, dust, food bags (boxes) and so on.

What should I do if I miss the time and want to put the domestic garbage?

In order to meet the needs of special people, a group of delayed delivery points were set up at the main entrance of each pilot community from 6: 00 to 22: 00.

Each garbage drop point will be guided, supervised and sorted by a special person to achieve accurate classification.
