Which villages will be transformed in East Lake Scenic Area in 2022?

Donghu Guangcun, Xianfeng Village, Xinwudong Village and Gongjialing Village

The four northeastern villages in East Lake Scenic Area (Huguang Village, Xianfeng Village, Xinwudong Village and Gongjialing Village) signed framework agreements with Wuhan Agricultural Bank, Wuhan Branch of China CITIC Bank and Wuhan Branch of Huaxia Bank, and obtained 42 billion financial special funds for the renovation plan of the four northeastern villages. The reconstruction plans of four villages in the northeast of Zhong Jing Village in East Lake Scenic Area were finalized at the same time. The transformation scope of the four villages in the northeast of East Lake is from Wujiu Railway in the east, Tangling Lake in the west, Wuhan Iron and Steel Special Line in the north and the southern boundary of Luo Yan Scenic Area in the south. The renovation involves a total land area of 18.5 square kilometers, surrounded by 40 kilometers of lake coastline, with unique peninsula coastline resources and beautiful wetland landscape dependent on lakes and islands. The transformation will be based on the principle of "ecological priority, people's livelihood priority, industrial upgrading and cultural inheritance". After the transformation is completed, it will present a prosperous scene of "ecological beauty, scenic beauty, rich people, prosperous industry and strong popularity".

The transformation plan of four villages in the northeast of Zhong Jing Village in Wuhan East Lake Scenic Area was finalized. The spatial layout of Wuhan's global tourism "one axis, one heart, one mountain, three cities and one hundred lakes" has fallen into a decisive "king chess game", and Zhongjing Village in East Lake Scenic Area has been transformed.
