How to pay the property fee for an empty house?

The property fees of vacant houses should be paid like other houses, which is a relatively extensive and common practice in China.

However, there are other agreements in some places, such as Article 37 of Shijiazhuang Property Management Regulations (revised on 20 10). If the property has been unoccupied, used or renovated for more than three consecutive months, the property service fee will be paid at 20% during the vacant period. Unless otherwise agreed by both parties to the realty service contract.

The start and end time of the owner's vacant property shall inform the property service enterprise in advance and afterwards, and go through the relevant formalities.

But in practice, almost all good property companies will stipulate in the property service contract that the property fee for vacant houses will be reduced or exempted, and almost all of them will be charged in full.
