However, if there is no letter box in residents' private houses, villagers can make or buy letter boxes by themselves according to postal industry standards, and it is not mandatory to set up letter boxes.

The following materials shall be submitted when the letter and newspaper box project is completed and accepted: design change certification documents and completion drawings, acceptance records of concealed works, and debugging records of intelligent letter and newspaper box system.

All acceptance shall be recorded, and relevant documents shall be signed and filed. If the installation quality of the letter box is unqualified, it shall be handled according to the following provisions: the letter box project that has been reworked, adjusted or replaced shall be re-accepted.

After rework, adjustment or replacement of parts and other measures, the letter box installation project that still cannot meet the requirements of this specification will not be accepted.

The acceptance of relevant projects not specified in this specification shall comply with the relevant provisions of the current national standard "Unified Standard for Acceptance of Construction Quality of Building Projects" GB50300.
