5. Quality inspection

After the above procedures are completed, the appearance quality of the repaired surface should be checked, and the key point of the inspection is that the color of the coating must be exactly the same as that of the original paint surface. If there are differences, it means that the surface cleaning and waxing and polishing are not completely in line with the requirements, and they should be reworked if necessary.

Second, the treatment of moderate scratches

When the paint layer is scraped through, but the bottom paint is not damaged, the repair method is as follows:

(2) Drying: generally, special far-infrared baking lamps or drying boxes are used for local drying. The temperature and time of baking depends on the actual situation, but it must meet the quality requirements of baking. The cotton ball method can be used to determine whether the surface of the paint film is actually dry.

③ Polishing: Use No.320 sandpaper to polish the paint surface to make the coating surface smooth, and wipe it with rag and compressed air while scraping. Finally, wipe the surface thoroughly with a sticky rag.

(2) The second coating

After the second topcoat is sprayed, polished and dried, a layer of amino topcoat should be sprayed.

(1) Construction conditions: Take top coat KH-24 as an example and use special thinner KH-24; The dilution rate is14%-16%; The dilution viscosity is 24-25s；; The building solid content is 46%; Let stand for 48 hours.

(2) Spraying method: the spraying times are 5-6 times, and the target thickness is 35-40um. Each leveling time interval is 3-5min; The last leveling time is 7- 10 minutes.

(3) Drying: drying temperature 140℃ for 30 minutes. If it is used in a drying room to keep dry, the drying time is 20 minutes. For local small-scale drying, far-infrared heaters are used for baking, and the actual drying time shall prevail.

Polishing and waxing

The operation method of polishing and waxing is:

(1) Use cotton cloth, woolen cloth, sponge, etc. Soak the polishing agent, polish it and then wipe it off.

(2) Brush wax again and polish.

Three. Treatment of deep scratches

Deep scratches, including scratches, are injuries such as local damage to the car body, deformation and rupture of the board surface, and serious damage to the coating caused by collision and scraping. For deep scratches, the old paint layer on the damaged board surface should be removed first, and the damaged board surface should be repaired by sheet metal or welding to meet the requirements of the original shape, size and outline. And then carrying out touch-up coating, and the processing method is as follows:

(1) Remove the surface coating, rust and welding slag with a shovel and a wire brush, smooth the larger joints with a grinding wheel, and polish with 1.5-2.5 emery cloth to remove the rust and sundries on the bottom surface.

(3) Polishing the primer with No.600 sandpaper;

(4) If the scratch is still lower than the paint surface, spray another 3-5 layers of primer and repeat the cleaning step;

(5) Use 1500-2000 sandpaper to smooth the surrounding parts, and then wipe them with solvent;

4. Spray surface coating

(1) Painting: select the topcoat matching the original car color paint, mix it according to the original car color, adjust it to the viscosity meeting the construction requirements, filter it and spray it. After each spraying, there should be leveling time required for film coating, and then spraying repeatedly. Make the thickness of the first layer paint reach 30 μm—40 μm-40μ m.. After painting, the coating should have enough leveling and drying time, and drying at room temperature is generally more than 2 hours.

(2) Warm grinding: on the basis of spraying, use 280-320 water mill sandpaper to grind four layers of coating. Clean with a rag and compressed air while blowing. And dry the surface, which can be heated or naturally dried. However, when drying naturally for a long time, attention should be paid to prevent dust from polluting the coating surface.

(3) Finishing: in the original topcoat, no more than 20% varnish is added, and then a proper diluent is added for mixed use to increase smoothness. Its viscosity is 15s/25Oc. Filtering and spraying. After spraying, the leveling property is good, which is convenient for polishing and waxing the next day. The total thickness is 80- 1 10um.

Polishing and waxing

(1) Remove the cover from the painted and dry body.

(2) Use 400-500 water sandpaper belt to polish the car body surface until the coating surface is smooth and flat. Grinding length is within 100 mm.

(3) polishing with a polishing agent. First, wipe the coated surface with a rag. Polishing with wool, sponge and other wetting polishing agents.

(4) After polishing, wax light is cast to make its surface as bright as new.
