Only when all the electrical interlocking switches of the whole department are turned on can the door lock relay of the control panel be attracted and the elevator can run.

3. Safety touch panel (door photoelectric, door light curtain):

In order to prevent the elevator door from clamping passengers during the closing process, a safety touch panel (or photoelectric or light curtain) is generally installed on the elevator door. The safety touch panel is a mechanical anti-pinch device. When someone touches the safety touch panel when the elevator is closed, the safety touch panel retracts inward to drive the microswitch below, and the safety touch panel switch acts to control the door to rotate in the direction of opening the door.
