Property management office does not belong to government functional departments.

Property management refers to the maintenance, conservation and management of houses, supporting facilities, equipment and related sites by the owners through hiring property service enterprises. The competent department of residential property is the local real estate administrative department, that is, the Housing Authority and the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.

The State Council construction administrative department is responsible for the supervision and management of the national property management activities. The real estate administrative departments of local people's governments at or above the county level shall be responsible for the supervision and management of property management activities within their respective administrative areas.

The property department is called Housing Authority, and there is a special property department or property office.
