Shanxi Sunshine Power Generation Co., Ltd. is located in Pingding County, Yangquan City, 5 kilometers away from Yangquan City/KLOC-0. Formerly known as Yangquan No.2 Power Plant in Shanxi Province, it is a national key construction project during the Eighth Five-Year Plan, with a total investment of about 5.5 billion yuan and a total installed capacity of four 300,000 kW condensing coal-fired generating units. The project1993 65438+started in February, and1999165438+10 was put into production. The coal used in the power plant is supplied by Yangquan Coal Industry Group Co., Ltd. and local coal, mainly by road transportation. The water source is taken from Niangziguan Spring Area, and it will be supplied by Pingding Water Lifting Project after reconstruction and expansion. On April 18, 2006, the desulfurization and dust removal project of four units of the company officially started construction. In September 2007, the flue gas desulfurization systems of four units were all put into operation, making it the first million kilowatt thermal power plant in Shanxi Province to complete the desulfurization transformation of all units at one time.
