The traffic administrative department of the public security organ that receives the notice of investigation shall immediately arrange interception or investigation. If a hit-and-run vehicle or a suspected vehicle is found, it shall be detained, and the hit-and-run person or suspect consistent with the investigation report shall be summoned according to law, and the traffic management department of the public security organ where the case occurred shall be informed in time. The traffic administrative department of the public security organ where the case occurred shall immediately send traffic police to handle the handover.

Article 46

After the traffic administrative department of the public security organ has seized the hit-and-run vehicle or the hit-and-run suspect, it shall cancel the investigation report according to the original scope, and cancel the monitoring through the national motor vehicle inspection and control system.
