What if the toilet is blocked?

If the toilet is not only blocked, but also full of water, you can use another method. First, empty the water inside, but keep some water. Then, pour a cup of baking soda and a cup of vinegar into the toilet drain. When vinegar and baking soda are mixed together, the natural chemical reaction bubbles and loosens the plug. After about half an hour, pour some hot water into it to see if it drains.

If you don't have rafters at home, you can also try to dredge them with plastic water bottles. But considering that plastic water bottles are generally not that long, you'd better wear rubber gloves first. First, get as much water as possible from the toilet. Fill a large plastic bottle with warm water. Put your thumb on it, and then put the top of the bottle into the outlet at the bottom of the toilet. Remove your thumb and hold the bottle tightly with both hands. Squeeze the bottle and let the water pour into the toilet drain. The pressure generated in this way can clear the blockage. When doing this, you'd better wear a mask and goggles to prevent splashing water. Then pour hot water into the toilet. If the water level drops, the blockage has been cleared.
