Legal basis: Article 29 of the Regulations on the Administration of Security Services In order to perform the duties of security services, security guards may take the following measures: (1) Check the certificates of personnel entering and leaving the service area and register the vehicles and articles entering and leaving; (two) patrol, security, safety inspection, alarm monitoring in the service area; (three) to carry out safety inspection of people and their property in public places such as airports, stations and docks, and to maintain public order; (4) When carrying out an armed escort mission, temporary isolation zones may be set up according to the needs of the mission, but the obstacles to the normal activities of citizens shall be minimized. Security guards shall promptly stop illegal and criminal acts in the service area, immediately call the police to stop invalid illegal and criminal acts, and take measures to protect the scene. The use of firearms by security guards engaged in the armed escort service shall be carried out in accordance with the Regulations on the Administration of the Use of Firearms by Full-time Escorters.
