History of ornamental fish

1. What is the breeding history of ornamental fish? According to historical records, the earliest origin of human fish farming was in the Colosseum in Rome more than 2,000 years ago.

There was a fish farm in the arena at that time. In addition to ornamental purposes, eating is also one of the purposes of farming.

Besides Rome, Egypt and China were also the first countries to raise fish in fish tanks. /kloc-In the 0/7th century, due to the drastic changes after the industrial revolution, fish farming became popular in Europe, and with the discovery of the new American continent,/kloc-was spread to America in the 0/8th century.

1853, the first large aquarium was built in London Zoo, England, for tourists to visit. 1867 There is also an exhibition of tropical marine fish in Paris.

After one or two hundred years of development, human beings know more about ornamental fish than before. Now there are marine museums in advanced countries, and aquariums can be seen everywhere on land.

The cultivation of ornamental fish has a very long history in China. Since the Southern Song Dynasty, it has a history of about 1000 years. In recent decades, ornamental fish have developed rapidly in both culture technology and species number. They have developed from single goldfish breeding in the past to large-scale goldfish, tropical fish, koi fish and other fish breeding. Ornamental fish farming enthusiasts are also spread all over the country.

Second, the breeding history of tropical fish. The so-called tropical fish is defined and named to distinguish it from other ornamental fish. Simply put, it is fish produced in tropical areas. Now it refers to the ornamental fish that live in the temperate and tropical regions of South and North China, including tropical freshwater fish and tropical marine fish, as well as some fish in subtropical regions.

The earliest country in the world to raise tropical ornamental fish is France. In A.D. 1868, Carponier introduced a tropical freshwater fish to Ci-culture in Paris. This fish is called Blissful Fish, but it is actually a wild betta in southern China, or China Betta.

This is the earliest tropical freshwater fish in the world as an artificial culture ornamental. Later, in Britain and the United States, all kinds of tropical freshwater ornamental fish were raised one after another, but the species were not as many as goldfish, and they were not developed until World War II.

With the establishment of tropical fish breeding associations in various countries, it has promoted the exchange of cultural techniques among ornamental fish lovers and promoted the vigorous development of tropical ornamental fish breeding.

Third, the history of goldfish breeding Goldfish originated in China, which is a variation of golden crucian carp and evolved from wild crucian carp.

In the Song Dynasty, goldfish were not only raised, but also entered the commodity market. By the Yuan Dynasty, goldfish had spread to Zhenjiang and Beijing.

By the Ming Dynasty, goldfish ci had a new form of cultivation, that is, from pond culture to tank culture and basin culture, and gradually entered the interior decoration and appreciation. During the Anti-Japanese War, goldfish ci culture entered a declining stage. It was not until after the founding of New China that the culture of goldfish ci developed, and the variety of goldfish also increased. By 1982, according to the investigation, there were 240 species of goldfish.

In the early 1980s, in order to develop China's goldfish export industry, many goldfish farms were established all over the country. 1985, the Shanghai Goldfish Association held the "First China Precious Goldfish Appraisal Exhibition", which officially launched the national goldfish appraisal activity, thus bringing goldfish breeding in China into a new revitalization period.

Fourth, the history of fish The history of goldfish

China began to keep goldfish as pets in the goldfish pond of the palace from the Southern Song Dynasty (1 127). Since 1502 (Zongshen period of Ming Dynasty), goldfish have been imported into Japan as ornamental fish together with other artworks. About 16 1 1 year, goldfish was introduced to Portugal; 1794 British state-owned China goldfish; 1728 artificial propagation of Dutch goldfish succeeded; About 1852, China goldfish also appeared in the United States during the Xianfeng period of the Qing Dynasty. Later, some countries in the United States began to raise goldfish. Goldfish has become a worldwide ornamental fish. As a living work of art, it is loved by people all over the world. Many poets and painters in the past dynasties often used goldfish as their subject matter, reciting poems and painting. The famous fairy tale poem The Little Goldfish and the Fisherman, written by Pushkin, a famous Russian poet, is widely circulated and has become one of children's favorite stories. China famous painter Wu Zuoren's goldfish paintings are highly praised by people. People in China have loved to eat fish since ancient times. Fish represents good luck, and goldfish symbolizes more than gold (fish). Therefore, during the Lunar New Year, New Year pictures and paper-cuts with the theme of goldfish and carp are one of the most popular new year's goods. There are goldfish New Year pictures hanging at home, a shiny goldfish jar and red couplets, so it's not just fish that people celebrate the New Year.

"Three Parallel Rivers" refers to the Jinsha River, Lancang River and Nujiang River, which originate from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. They flow in parallel from north to south in Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture and Nujiang Wa Autonomous Prefecture in the northwest of Yunnan Province 170 kilometers, and cross mountains such as Dailika Mountain, Gaoligong Mountain, Nushan Mountain and Yunling Mountain, forming a rare wonder of "great rivers flowing in parallel without meeting" in the world. In the meantime, the shortest straight-line distance between Lancang River and Jinsha River is 66 kilometers, and the distance from Nujiang River is less than 19 kilometers. It is the largest world heritage in China and the richest museum of geology and geomorphology in the world. Known as the "world biological gene bank", it is also one of the regions with the richest biological species in the world. Botany calls it "natural alpine garden".

Because of the special geological structure, the most concentrated biodiversity, rich human resources and beautiful and magical natural landscape, Eurasia has become the only and unique spectacle in the world. It is a rare representative area of alpine landform and its evolution in the world.

I hope it will help you, and hope to adopt it. Your adoption will be our motivation to answer questions.

5. How long is the history of fish? Nearly 500 million years ago, the life course on the earth took a great leap, and the earliest fish-shaped animals appeared, which opened the prelude to the history of vertebrates, thus leading to the development of the animal kingdom and entering a new historical stage.

Real fish first appeared more than 300 million years ago. Throughout the long history, a large number of fish have survived, and with the passage of time, they have already become extinct. Fish that live on the earth today are only a tiny part of the species that later appeared and evolved. Humans can identify species and name them long ago. Generally speaking, "fish" includes all animals in the water, so many animals living in the water are named fish. Whales, seals, monitor lizards (giant salamanders), squid, octopus, starfish, sea squirrels, sponges and amphioxus are all confused with fish.

What aquatic animals are the real "fish"? Different generations have different definitions of "fish". Two thousand years ago, the ancient Greek philosopher Plato (427-347 BC) defined fish as: "This kind of fish is made up of completely ignorant things.

The master of transfiguration thinks that it is no longer worthwhile to give pure breath, because they are descendants of all kinds of evil and have unclean hearts. The shapeshifter threw them into the water and let them breathe the beautiful and pure air through the deep mud.

This is the fish and oysters and all other aquatic animals, which are separated from each other as a punishment for the great folly. "Plato's point of view is full of creationism.

Due to the development of modern science, this view has long been completely denied. Erya, written by China in the early Han Dynasty, divided animals into four categories: insects, fish, birds and beasts. Among them, fish include lower vertebrates such as fish, amphibians and reptiles, as well as whales, shrimps, crabs and shellfish. /kloc-in the 8th century, the Swedish naturalist Linnaeus (1707— 1778) founded modern taxonomy. In his book,

1859, British biologist Darwin published the book Origin of Species, which gave birth to systematic taxonomy. Since then, the definition and scope of fish have been determined.

Which animals belong to "fish"? Modern taxonomists define "fish" as vertebrates that live in water all their lives, breathe through gills and swim with fins. Fish include three categories, namely oviduct fish, cartilaginous fish and bony fish. There are about 26,000 known fish species in the world, which is the largest group of vertebrates, accounting for 48. 1% of the total number of vertebrates. Most of them live in the ocean, and there are about 8600 species of freshwater fish.

There are nearly 3,000 species of fish in China, among which about 1000 species are freshwater fish. In the coarse sand in the shallow coastal areas of China, there is a small "fish" with a slender figure, a body length of less than 50 mm and sharp and translucent ends. Its scientific name is "amphioxus". Although it is a fish in shape, it is not a fish. Although amphioxus has a spinal cord on its back, it has no spinal structure, no bones, no obvious head and no heart.

Amphioxus, similar to fish, is characterized by notochord, neural tube and branchial fissure, and belongs to the intermediate transitional group between invertebrates and vertebrates in taxonomy-protochordata, also known as Decapoda.

6. Ornamental fish at home What kind of arowana has a beard? It looks like a dragon in China mythology, so it is called arowana, which is a very popular ornamental fish in Southeast Asia.

Among arowana, silver dragon and precious stones are well preserved. , Qinglong, xingdian, 1 red dragon, pepper, etc. Goldfish Goldfish is a common ornamental fish suitable for family use. It originally belonged to the quintessence of China, but now many new varieties have been cultivated abroad.

Generally speaking, goldfish are easy to domesticate and the demand conditions are not harsh. Koi fish koi fish is a colorful carp, a variety of red carp. This is very common in modern environment. People often use koi fish to decorate their home environment, which is also an easy type to domesticate.

Marine Fish A marine fish is a kind of fish that lives in the ocean. Therefore, it is necessary to have relevant equipment and take relevant measures to simulate the living environment in the ocean. The temperature should be controlled at around 25℃, salinity? 1.020%~ 1.023%, animals and plants in the sea should be released.

Such as coral, anemones, sea crabs and seaweed. Only in this way can marine fish live happily here.

Seven, goldfish breeding I like to raise goldfish with a little history, but I am embarrassed to say it. I've always wanted to see the temperature around Tomb-Sweeping Day in April every year, which is the breeding season for fish.

Goldfish and koi fish's farming are also concentrated in this season. Before breeding, you must choose the fish and prepare the fish nest.

The breeding methods of goldfish and koi fish are natural breeding and artificial fertilization. 1, natural propagation method In spring, when the water temperature is 18-22 degrees, the gonads of goldfish and koi fish are mature, and at dawn, they will see their chasing activities.

When the temperature is suitable, they can be replaced with fresh water, and the aquatic plants and fish nests prepared in advance can be put into the water. At dawn, the parent fish chase each other, and several male fish chase a female fish in succession, pushing the female fish into the water grass or fish nest. As soon as the female fish shakes her body, the eggs are scattered in rows, and the male fish immediately * * *, and the fertilized eggs are scattered on the aquatic plants or fish nests.

A female fish usually has to divide several times before she can lay eggs in her body. A few females will lay many eggs.

When you see more eggs in fish nests or aquatic plants, you can take out the spawning nests with fish eggs and put them into new aquatic plants or fish nests. A spawning nest with fish eggs can be placed at 0.

Soak in malachite green solution with a concentration of 2PPM for 3-5 minutes, and then put it in clear water for incubation. The spawning activity of parent fish generally lasts until 9- 10 in the morning. Take out the last batch of ovaries containing fish eggs, sterilize them and put them in the incubator.

At dawn the next day, the parent fish will still spawn. Generally speaking, the spawning activities of the same parent fish can last for 2-3 days. After the parent fish lays eggs for the first time, the interval is usually 7- 10 days, and it can lay eggs for the second time.

2. After the parent fish matures, gently squeeze the abdomen of the female fish, and the fish eggs will be discharged from the fallopian tube. Gently squeeze the abdomen of the male fish, and the ivory will be discharged from the vas deferens. At this point, take a sterilized shallow dish, grab the female fish with your left hand, and gently press the abdomen with your right thumb, and the pale yellow eggs will fall into the shallow dish evenly; Grab the male fish quickly, squeeze the * * * into a shallow dish in the same way, and gently stir it evenly with a clean brush or feather to ensure that every egg has a chance of fertilization.

After about 15 minutes, pour the water out of the dish, pour the fertilized eggs into the fish nest and hatch in clear water. So the fertilization rate of fish eggs is higher.

3. When the parent fish reach sexual maturity through water and fertilizer, it is very common for several male fish to chase a female fish in the fish pond. At this time, you can take out the parent fish with chasing activities and gently press the abdomen with your hands. If there are pale yellow eggs or milky white outflow, you can keep them for later use.

The method is to choose a washbasin, which is covered with aquatic plants or brown silk to make a fish nest, and add about 4/5 of clear water. Hold the female fish in the left hand and the male fish in the right hand, with the belly of the parent fish facing upward, the tail fins of the two fish facing each other, and the ovulation tube and sperm tube facing each other. The male fish is squeezed out by the thumb of the right hand first, and the milky white * * * is scattered with the water. At this time, the egg is quickly squeezed out with the thumb of the left hand, and the egg meets the * * * to complete the fertilization process. When the tail fin of the fish is gently shaken with the left hand, the fertilized egg will fall evenly on the fish nest.

Repeat the above actions, and the fish eggs are fertilized intermittently in batches. In practice, we often choose flowerpots or pottery pots, and use the walls of pottery pots as nesting places. Fill the basin with water and catch the parent fish for artificial fertilization, so that the fish eggs will be evenly attached to the basin wall.

Pour out the water, and directly immerse the flowerpot or clay pot in the water to hatch. If artificial fertilization is proper, a 30CM flowerpot can be used as a fish nest, each flowerpot can attach 5000- 10000 eggs, and the hatching rate can reach 95-98%.

In artificial insemination, if the male fish is yellowish instead of milky white, it should be discarded. If the female fish eggs are pale white and mixed with yellow liquid, it means that the eggs have melted and should be discarded. Only when the male fish's * * * is milky white, and the female fish's eggs are light yellow and shiny, the fertilization rate of fish eggs is higher.

In the breeding of goldfish, one-year-old goldfish is selected as the parent fish. When breeding in koi fish, the parent fish should be 3-5 years old.

To breed koi fish, a cement pond of 20 square meters with a height of 80- 100CM can be selected as the spawning pond. Several koi fish of the same strain can be put in the pond, and more than 20 bundles of brown silk slices can be put into the pond as fish nests. Parent fish chase each other when they breed and scatter their eggs in the fish nest.

Koi fish is pregnant with a large number of eggs, so the spawning nest with fish eggs will be kept at 0. Soak in 2PPM malachite green solution for 3-5 minutes, and then prevent it from hatching in clear water.

The eggs of goldfish and carp usually take 5-7 days to hatch. When the newly hatched fry can swim, they can only be fed with small bait gray water or small fish and insects.

The incubation time of goldfish is between April and May every year, which is the breeding season of goldfish. Breeding goldfish must first choose a good variety.

Before seed selection, we should observe the phenomenon of "idolization" of fish to distinguish male from female. "Idolization" means that the gill cover, dorsal fin and the top of the forward stroke of the male fish have white protrusions the size of sesame seeds, but there is no "idolization" for the female fish (and there is no "idolization" for the immature male fish).

Seed selection should choose those with strong physique, pure varieties and good posture. In the mating of two kinds of fish, a female fish with similar characteristics of the same species should be selected with a male fish.

If there are two females, match two males, and so on. Fertilization of goldfish is carried out in vitro. When the female fish ovulates, the male fish must follow immediately and excrete * * *, so as to complete the fertilization process, otherwise it will not produce small fish.

After selecting the species, put a bunch of Pteris in the fish tank. If there is no Pteris, use other aquatic plants, even old brown silk and hemp silk instead. Then put the fish together and other unrelated goldfish need to be moved to other fish tanks.

After sowing, the female fish must be fished out immediately and put into other fish tanks to be raised separately. Fresh water must be replaced immediately in the fish tank where the male fish are kept. If you don't change the water, the water will stink and the fish will die.

Whether it is a new fish sown for the first time or an old fish sown for many years, it is generally sown three times during the breeding period, with an interval of about one week each time. The quality of roe is generally better when it is sprinkled for the second time.

After the fish eggs overflow, they should be taken out of the tank containing Pteris multifida immediately and put into another clear water fish tank. But the fish tank must be bigger, because hundreds of young fish hatched will live in this tank for a period of time.

The jar should be placed in a ventilated and sunny place. After 2~3 days, the transparency of roe will gradually decrease, and a black spot will appear at the same time, which is the head of the young fish. After 3~5 days, this black spot expands into a circle, which is the body of the young fish; Soon after, a little goldfish hatched. Little goldfish are very small when they hatch.

In the first few days, they could not eat or move, and attached to the bottom, walls and original Pteris. Never this time.
