What does real right compilation mean?

The compilation of real right is the first part of the civil code.

1. The legal relationship between the real right of the civil code and its adjustment is the cornerstone of real right protection. This series of real right series is revised and improved on the basis of the real right law promulgated in 2007.

2. It can be seen from the code structure of property right compilation that the code follows the existing system of property right compilation and adopts the property right system in which all property rights extend to usufructuary rights and security rights.

The Civil Code:

1. People's Republic of China (PRC) Civil Code is called "encyclopedia of social life", which is a declaration and guarantee of civil rights.

2. If the Constitution focuses on restricting public power, then the Civil Code focuses on protecting private rights. Almost all civil activities, from signing a contract to setting up a company to paying property fees and divorce, can be found in the Civil Code.

3. In February, 2002, the 31st session of the 9th the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC) reviewed the draft civil law. After that, because the property law has not yet been formulated, there are great differences on the understanding of the draft civil law, and the draft civil law was finally shelved.

4. On May 28th, 2020, the Third Session of the 13th National People's Congress voted to pass the Civil Code of People's Republic of China (PRC), which will take effect on June 28th, 20021year.
