What if the decoration disturbs the people? Is there a law?

According to relevant national laws and regulations, renovation activities are prohibited on statutory rest days, holidays and working days from 12 to 14 and 18 to 8: 00 the next day.

The legal basis is:

1. Article 47 of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Noise Pollution:

When carrying out indoor decoration activities in residential buildings that have been completed and delivered for use, the operation time should be limited and other effective measures should be taken to reduce and avoid environmental noise pollution to surrounding residents.

2. Article 45 of the draft measures of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Noise Pollution stipulates that,

"On legal rest days, holidays and working days 12 to 14, 18 to 8: 00 the next day, it is forbidden to carry out noise decoration and other nuisance operations in residential buildings that have been completed and delivered."
