What is a smart community?

Smart community is a new concept of community management under the concept of smart city and a new model of social management innovation under the new situation. As an important part of smart city, smart community is the contact point of smart city and the carrier of urban management, government service and market service. The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that improving people's livelihood and strengthening the construction of community governance system. The 13th Five-Year Plan of China proposes to build a smart city, improve the community service function and improve the comprehensive service management platform for urban and rural communities.

At present, community construction faces many problems: the quality of community service is not high, the cost of property management is high, the hidden danger of community security is great, and it is difficult for the elderly to provide for the elderly. Under the new situation, vigorously promoting the construction of smart communities is an effective way to solve many challenges in community development.

Taking "refined management, culture of serving people, socialization of operation, informationization of means and standardization of work" as the construction idea, taking community residents as the service core, taking the happiness of community people as the starting point, taking the overall planning of various social service resources as the starting point, and making full use of next-generation information technologies such as the Internet of Things, cloud computing and mobile Internet, An intelligent integrated information service management platform integrating convenience service, property management, community security, smart pension, smart home, video surveillance and other functions will be built, and a 3-kilometer living circle will be built to provide residents with comfortable, safe, efficient and convenient modern and intelligent services to fully meet the needs of residents' survival and development.
