What are your experiences of "losing face at home"?

In the third grade of primary school, there will be a New Year's Day party in the class. That morning, our head teacher asked the students with balloons to decorate the classroom tomorrow. I raised my hand without hesitation. In the afternoon, I came to the classroom early and blew it up with a dozen condoms brought back from home. When the head teacher brought the headmaster in for inspection, he burst all the balloons I blew like crazy.
