How to connect the lines when installing the air conditioner?

Generally, there are four wires, zero wire, pressure wire, fan and four-way. If frequency conversion, generally three, fire, zero, can be connected.

If it is an air conditioning plug with a switch, the wiring is as follows:

Connect the green wire at the bottom of the switch socket with the red wire at the top and connect it to the terminal of the switch. Connect a wire from the other end of the switch to the L end of the air conditioning socket (this is the live wire). Connect a double-color wire from the bottom (because there are two wires from the bottom, and there is no grounding wire) and a blue wire from the top to the N terminal of the air conditioner switch (this is a neutral wire, also called a neutral wire). Then connect the above two-color wire to another grounding terminal, which has a vertical bottom and two small horizontal wires on the air conditioning switch. This is a grounding protection to prevent electric leakage.

In fact, the air conditioning socket does not need a switch.

First, you certainly won't install air conditioning in every room.

Second, air conditioners are all controlled by a single circuit. Just turn off this circuit switch in the main electrical box.

In the process of air conditioning installation, there are also acceptance criteria for line direction. After installation, the owner must make a good inspection. It doesn't help if something goes wrong.

(1) Whether the air-conditioning power cord, electric control cord and their connections meet the requirements of relevant national standards, and whether the interconnection wires, control cable wiring and terminals are clear and accurate, without crossing and winding;

(2) Whether the electrical connection of the air conditioner adopts a special branch, and whether the capacity meets twice the maximum rated current value of the air conditioner. Check that the wire diameter (cross-sectional area) of the connecting wire should meet the maximum value of household electricity consumption of users;

(3) Whether the air conditioner has a special power socket and whether the power cord is equipped with a leakage protector or an air switch;

④ The indoor and outdoor electrical connection wires of the air conditioner are not stretched and twisted. Whether the extension line meets the requirements and is within the maximum line length specified by the product.

⑤ Whether the power socket is a three-wire jack socket with a safety ground wire, and whether the socket matches the power plug of the air conditioner to be installed. Whether the capacity is not less than 2 times the rated current of the installed air conditioner, and it is placed near the random power plug of the air conditioner. Does the air conditioner smaller than or equal to 4500W use 16A socket, and does the air switch choose for the air conditioner larger than 4500 W? ..

⑥ Whether the installation of air conditioner has good grounding. Whether the grounding wire and the terminal or grounding terminal are firmly connected, locked or welded into a whole, and whether effective grounding is ensured. When there is no grounding wire in the building, whether the installer suspends the installation or negotiates with the user to take correct and effective grounding measures before installation. Whether the resistance between the grounding terminal or contact and the metal shell contacting the air conditioner is less than or equal to 4Ω, and whether the grounding wire is dedicated.
