Shandong Institute of Property Management is the only private university in Shandong Province approved by Shandong Provincial Department of Education. The organizer is Jinan Jianyi Group. The college has a school and two sites. The old school is located in the political, cultural and commercial center of Lixia District, Jinan, adjacent to the Lixia District Government, with convenient transportation and elegant environment. The school covers an area of 53 mu with a building area of 25,000 square meters. The school has built 10 first-class practice and laboratories in safety monitoring, electronics and electrician, electric drive, elevator, heating and ventilation, central air conditioning unit, water supply and drainage, and 5 large and stable off-campus practice bases, which provide unique conditions for students' practice and skill training. European-style teaching building, student apartment, spacious and bright multimedia classroom, language lab, network classroom, electronic reading room, physical training room, etc. are jointly built, and the teaching conditions are superior. The new campus is located in Suncun Town, Licheng District, Jinan City, adjacent to the planned Dongcheng District, covering an area of more than 800 mu, with a designed construction area of 1.9 million square meters. The first phase of the project is 80,000 square meters. It is planned to be put into use at the end of June 2004, and all the projects will be completed in 2005. By then, students will study, live and become talents in a high-grade vocational college with modern flavor, characteristics of the times. The college has a specialist department, a technical secondary school department and an adult training department, with more than 2,000 students.

The Department of Property Management is the Department of Building Economic Management and the Department of Information Engineering Management, covering more than ten majors, including property management, building intelligent technology, municipal engineering, building management, information engineering, international business, environmental engineering, business English, law, secretarial, etc. Among them, the major of property management was rated as the pilot major of municipal teaching reform. The college has full-time and part-time teachers 105, including 66 full-time teachers, all with bachelor degree or above, and 42 professors and associate professors. The school unswervingly implements the party's education policy, always follows the school-running tenet of "teaching by quality, promoting education through scientific research, innovating teaching and establishing education by quality", manages scientifically, pays attention to quality and runs its own characteristics. For two consecutive years, it has achieved the entrance rate of college entrance examination and the employment rate of graduates 100%, which has won wide recognition and praise from the society. Since 2002, the school has been approved by the Social Security Department of Shandong Province and the Construction Department of Shandong Province as a professional qualification training base for property managers (divisions) and a post training point for department managers of construction enterprises with secondary qualifications, with an annual training of 800- 1000 people. The school cooperated with American Education Service Company to set up "Jinan Aston English School" to carry out oral English training at all levels, adopting small class teaching and American teaching method, which is very popular.
