A guide for freshmen in West Anhui University

1. A full set of bedding (the school sells a full set; I want to bring bedding, pillows and two sheets from home (so I can change them and wash them). I can bring a thin quilt first, and a thick quilt can be sent from home in winter). Don't bring too much extra things. I'm not learning to move!

2. Toilets (sold at the entrance of the dormitory, there are several canteens in the school, and the larger supermarket near the school is Century Hualian [1 1 bus]).

There are seasonal clothes and winter clothes, which can be packed at home in winter and sent by parents. The dormitory is not that big, so don't bring too many clothes. Take a pair of sports shoes and run just a few days after school starts.

Don't rush to buy a bench a few days ago. Schools will issue benches, but they are all plastic benches [the quality is worrying. Several of our dormitories have broken down. You can buy it yourself (it is not recommended for freshmen, because it will be very troublesome to move to the dormitory for sophomores). There will be a second-hand group in school. You can buy it second-hand if you don't mind. It's much cheaper.

Buy two or three small locks (one is a little bigger, the other two are a little smaller, go there and see for yourself before buying). Dormitory cabinets and drawers should be locked.

6. Campus phone card [must be done], just get one, and college students will issue it when you register. If you promise your seniors and seniors to get a card there in the summer vacation, then don't take the card issued by the college when you register [doesn't matter].

7. Campus card. I sent it when I signed up. I seem to have forgotten one or two hundred. Used for bathing, dining in the canteen, or brushing in campus convenience stores.

8. Water card. Do it at my aunt's house, 30 yuan each, and then change it after use. Don't waste a lot of time on water cards and post pictures or something. I used to pick up boiled water in the dormitory water room.

9. Dormitory air conditioning remote control. Go to the property in your area to buy [Volkswagen Property (New District) and Huabaosheng Property (Old District)] and pay the deposit in 20 yuan. If there is a mobile phone with infrared ray in the dormitory, you don't need to buy it. Turn on the air conditioner with infrared rays [it is recommended to buy a remote control]. Air conditioning is extra and will be introduced in your class.
