Why is Shenzhen Longhua subway called MTR?

It is because the second phase project of Shenzhen Metro longhua line is wholly invested and operated by Hong Kong MTR Corporation (now known as MTR Corporation).

In 2008, Shenzhen Metro Line 4 was handed over to MTR Rail Transit (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd.

A group of employees of Shenzhen Metro Line 4 will be trained in MTR for a period of 12 weeks.

On August 15, Huanggang Station of Shenzhen Metro Line 4 was renamed Futian Port Station.

20 10, Shenzhen Metro Line 4 was completed. Upon completion, MTR will continue to own the franchise of Shenzhen Metro Line 4 for 30 years.

On 20th11June16th, Shenzhen Metro Line 4 was opened to traffic.

It is managed and operated by the Hong Kong MTR Corporation.
