The battery replacement method of IC card of household smart water meter is as follows:

2. There is a round cover (decorative cover) on the water meter, which needs to be pried out along the edge with a blade. If you don't care about appearance, you can drive violently. As the picture shows, this is a violent opening.

3. After opening, it is a big cross screw, and you can see the battery when you open it with a screwdriver.

There are round covers on both sides of the instrument. On the one hand, it is convenient to take out the battery and plug in the wire. Take out the battery, unplug it and replace it with a new battery. Replace the battery, then insert the card to see if it can be read normally. If not, unplug the battery and try again several times.

Precautions:

1. The electronic display part of the water meter no longer displays the number of the water meter, and the water meter gives an alarm sound, indicating that the battery of the water meter is dead at this time and needs to be replaced.

2. When the pre-stored water in the water meter is used up, the water meter has not closed the valve, resulting in water flowing out of the water meter. In this case, the battery of the water meter is dead.

3. When the water meter is found to be inaccurate, it may be that the battery of the water meter is dead, or the IC card smart water meter is broken.

4. Low voltage detection: When the battery voltage is lower than 3.8V, the motor valve is closed, and "Undervoltage" and "Valve Closed" are displayed. You need to install a new battery to reuse the IC card water meter.
