The Hutong where Wen Xiang lived in Shenyang is called "Wentangtang Hutong" because of its popularity among Shenyang people. 1957, when the street names and house numbers in Shenyang were reorganized, a part of Wentangtang Hutong, Tuying Wall Hutong and Huajia Hutong were combined into "Li Wenzhong", which was called "Wendaren Lane".
