I think we should be thrifty when we have money.

Emperors of all previous dynasties ended in ruin. Tang Taizong's rule of chastity and the prosperity of Wu Zetian in the new century deserve our admiration. At that time, they spent their money on the cutting edge, so they lived in peace. When they did something, they began to enjoy a rich life. The luxurious and decadent life made the prosperous Tang Dynasty decline, which shows how important it is to hold a frugal attitude! Since there has been such a tragic lesson since ancient times, why should we challenge the limit?

This is true in ancient times, and it is also true in modern times. Many senior officials were poor when they were young, diligent and thrifty, and studied hard. After they reached prosperity, they began to be enterprising and began to spend money without restraint. Once they were in financial difficulties, they began to move their minds in officialdom and finally embarked on the road of no return. Now such examples abound, and we should really take a warning! If they can remain frugal and be honest officials when they get rich, I don't think they will be ruined.

Some people think that now that China is rich, we can rest easy. I don't think these ideas are suitable for our current national conditions. After all, it is only a developing country, not a developed country like the United States. Even the strongest developed countries in the world are not complacent. There are still strong people in every field and innovations that shock the world. People, as long as they relax their vigilance, will inevitably go backwards. This still applies to a country. If people think that the country's GDP is already high and they don't need to continue to work hard, then this country will also be the afterglow of the end. If you are not frugal, you will waste resources, time, talents, opportunities and everything that can be wasted. Then, it is really over.

As a high school student, my position is very clear. My life is very rich, but we should not waste it, but we should be frugal. Besides, the norms of our middle school students require us to be frugal, which is not only a virtue, but also an obligation.
