Swan Lake Park, the "Urban Green Lung" of Taihu New City

Swan Lake Park is located in Longxiang Road West and Swan Dang Road South of Taihu New City in Wuzhong. Covering an area of about 240,000 square meters, it is named Swan Lake Park because it retains the original water body of Swan Swing.

Parks are generally distributed in six parts: South Entrance Square, Southeast Peninsula, Landscape Bridge, Central Flower Island, West Coast and North Coast.

South entrance square

The south entrance square is not only a display surface of the city image along the street, but also an open activity space for gathering. A huge stainless steel veranda was set up in the square, and a round hole was hollowed out at the top. As the sun moves, the shadow of the hole keeps changing. Looking from the north, a giant "messenger" sculpture stands in the water, its shape is like an elegant white swan, dancing with the wind. The wings of these butterflies are engraved with words in various languages, carrying the message of love.

Southeast peninsula

The most important node in Southeast Peninsula is Children's Paradise. In recent years, children's play space has occupied a large part in parks. Of course, designers have racked their brains and come up with novel and unique designs. Children's paradise is the most dynamic place in every park. Weekends are also full of laughter.

Play on the slide

Why are there so few slides in the children's playground? The slide design here is very bold. Combined with the terrain design, the vertical height of the slide varies from 2 meters to 5 meters. I'm not ashamed, and I slipped through a childlike addiction once.

Xishuiyuan

With the arrival of summer, various swimming interactive facilities have been opened, and it is even more lively here. Even strange friends have a water fight here, enjoying the cool in the hot summer days and getting to know their playmates. Water lilies are in full bloom in the sinking wetland pool near the water surface.

At the top of the Southeast Peninsula, there is a quiet garden, and tall juniper trees are planted criss-crossing, forming a strict green wall, which is more energetic under the embellishment of pieces of Coreopsis. Visitors can play in this plant maze.

Landscape bridge

The landscape bridge is the link between the Southeast Peninsula and Huadao, like a Wolong. The red rhythmic railing is like Suzhou ribbon, which is smart and hazy. The ground of the bridge is also undulating, so it is interesting to walk in it. Pedestrians who come and go also stay to take photos for themselves and record the beauty of life.

Central flower island

Huadao central area is mainly composed of several scenic spots, high-altitude trails and artistic flower borders with central characteristics. Huadao is equipped with an outdoor theater along the lakeside waters, and there are several nodes in the water boat house and the water wetland garden.

Center feature waterscape

From the central mirror water view, the distant scenery is reflected beautifully. When the plants are flourishing, the scenery must be more charming. Fog spray can not only provide coolness in hot summer, but also bring dreamy artistic conception to people.

Walking on the high-altitude trail and stepping on the wooden floor, you can touch the buds of fir trees on both sides. Looking up, you can see the busy scene of Starscream in the sunset. Looking down through the glass railing, you can see people and scenery walking on the ground.

In spring, white chrysanthemums and ground flowers, such as carnation and Mao Juan, are everywhere. When you are tired, just sit down nearby, have a good rest and enjoy these flowers.

outdoor theater

There will be many open-air performances in the open-air theater composed of stretched film stage and stepped seats, which will inject full vitality into the park under the night.

West bank

The west coast is dominated by cherry blossom corridors. At the beginning of April every year, the cherry blossoms here are colorful and beautiful. Cherry blossoms are getting older every year, and the flowers are blooming more and more luxuriantly. If you miss this year's cherry blossom season, remember to punch in next year.
