The sales of new energy vehicles in Shanghai have soared

In the process of promoting new energy vehicles, the difficulty in installing private charging piles has always been one of the most critical obstacles.

Recently, due to the release of the new policy of "restricting traffic", the sales of new energy vehicles in Shanghai have surged. This has brought a series of chain reactions, one of which is that the charging infrastructure is increasingly stretched.

165438+1October 6, think tank jun learned that a community industry Committee in Shanghai recently announced that it would suspend all applications for charging pile installation in non-property parking spaces from June 5. This means that the installation of residential charging piles will also be "current limited".

Due to the sudden increase of power consumption pressure in a short time, the installation of charging piles in some parking spaces in the above-mentioned residential areas was suspended. In fact, in the process of promoting new energy vehicles, the difficulty in installing private charging piles has always been one of the most critical obstacles. How to strengthen the construction of charging infrastructure is also the key work of promoting new energy vehicles in China in the next stage.

Installation of charging pile is blocked.

The community industry Committee said that the temporary "current limit" was mainly due to the obvious increase in the number of owners applying for the installation of charging piles recently. At present, the electricity consumption in the community is full. If we continue to add a large number of charging piles, it will inevitably affect the electricity safety of residents in the community. Expanding the capacity of electrical equipment is one of the ways to solve the problem, but the related expenses are huge and will not be considered for the time being.

According to think tank Jun, residential parking spaces are divided into underground property parking spaces and non-property parking spaces. Underground property parking spaces are not affected by the announcement for the time being, but many non-property parking spaces are also fixed parking spaces, which are rented and used by owners all the year round. Therefore, when buying new energy vehicles, there will also be a need to install charging piles.

The number of applications for charging pile installation has increased significantly, behind which is the sudden hot new energy vehicle market in Shanghai. Think tank Jun previously learned that since June 24th of 10, the sales of new energy vehicles in Shanghai have started to increase substantially, and the sales of individual stores have even surged several times than usual.

Shanghai itself is one of the largest consumer markets for new energy vehicles in China. According to incomplete statistics, its sales of new energy vehicles account for about 65,438+00% of the national total sales-even for Shanghai, this round of skyrocketing is really rare.

Policy stimulus is the most direct factor. 10 On the afternoon of June 24th, Shanghai upgraded the "restricted" regulations for foreign license plates. On the one hand, from June 24th 1 12, the time limit for loading foreign license plates on the inner ring viaduct has been lengthened. On the other hand, after the May Day holiday next year, the inner ring road will also be opened for a limited time. This directly stimulated the release of a wave of new car consumption demand.

Back to the "current limiting" problem of charging pile installation. After the announcement, new owners of new energy vehicles can't enjoy their charging piles for the time being. In front of them, there is only one choice, public charging piles.

The community industry Committee said that in the future, it will apply for installing charging piles in non-property parking spaces, and draw up relevant plans, which will be implemented after voting by the owners' meeting.

It is understood that the current preliminary plan is to build public charging piles in the community, but this requires all parties to vote, and it also involves subsequent cooperation and coordination with charging pile operators. Some community owners said that the implementation prospect of the solution is not optimistic, and it is expected to take several months to finalize.

What is the solution to the charging problem? ?

It is difficult to build charging piles in residential areas, which is actually a "big problem" in the promotion of new energy vehicles for many years.

Data show that China has built the largest charging network in the world. By the end of September this year, there were 6.5438+0.42 million charging piles in China, but the current vehicle-pile ratio is only 3. 1: 1, which is far from the previously planned target value 1: 1.

Although the ratio of 1: 1 is still controversial, the promotion of charging piles in previous years is obviously not as good as that of new energy vehicles. The difficulty of charging pile construction in residential areas is one of the reasons why the charging pile construction is not as expected.

According to CCID research institute, there are several reasons why charging piles are difficult to enter the community: the land in the community is scarce, the power load is difficult to carry, and the safety performance of some charging piles is poor at present. It is understood that in many communities in first-tier cities, due to the shortage of parking spaces, the community has stipulated from the beginning that only fixed parking spaces with personal property rights can install charging piles. The problem that the power load mentioned in the above communities is difficult to carry is actually a common phenomenon.

It is worth mentioning that in recent years, with the increase of individual users of new energy vehicles, private charging piles have also shown a good growth trend as a whole. According to Zhang Fan of China Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Promotion Alliance, by the end of September this year, the alliance had counted more than 800,000 private charging piles, and the installation rate was increasing.

However, to promote the development of new energy vehicles, it is obviously not enough to rely solely on private charging piles. Only by improving the construction of public charging network can we protect the long-term development of new energy vehicles. The recently released "New Energy Automobile Industry Development Plan (202 1-2035)" particularly emphasizes that the convenience of charging and replacing electricity services should be significantly improved.

The construction of charging infrastructure is an important work for the development of new energy vehicles in the next stage. In March this year, the policy also included charging piles in seven new infrastructure areas for promotion, which also reflected the importance attached by the decision-makers to solving the bottleneck of charging piles and promoting the development of new energy automobile industry.

Different from the previous planning, the new planning has specially divided different scenarios, carefully guided the selection of charging and replacing technologies, and added "strengthening the overall coordination with urban and rural construction planning, power grid planning and property management, urban parking, etc." This shows that the future charging infrastructure will be promoted in all directions and in multiple scenarios, not just limited to a specific type.

In the subdivision scenario, the plan proposes that the charging service in residential areas should actively promote intelligent and orderly slow charging, supplemented by emergency fast charging, and highways and urban and rural public charging networks should be moderately advanced, fast charging and slow charging. In addition, the plan also encourages the application of power exchange mode, strengthens the research and development of new charging technologies such as intelligent and orderly charging and high-power charging, and adds a "wireless charging" to the new technology.

This provides a broader idea for all kinds of charging pile operators. In the future, with the further promotion of new energy vehicle sales, enterprises should refine the specific needs of different scenarios and lay out different charging and replacing infrastructure.
