How to swim in Putian Zixiao

Zixiao Mountain is located in Weiyang Village, Xitianwei Town, Licheng District, with an altitude of 550 meters. There is purple fog flowing on the mountain all the year round, and the scenery is strange. On the mountainside, there is a thousand-year-old temple-Zixiao Hall, commonly known as Zixiao Hall. According to the relevant records, "the Zen forest in Zixiao Mountain was built by a monk in the Tang Dynasty and the founder of Miao Ying of Yi nationality", which was more than 200 years ago 1.

Around Zixiao Temple, pine trees, cypress trees, ancient camphor trees and banyan trees abound, with loquat forests, longan, peach and pomelo scattered all over the place, deep caves, dense flowers and plants, and spring-like seasons. "Zixiao Strange Stone" is one of the 24 scenic spots in Putian. From South Shaolin Road, it spiraled up to the middle section, turned about 1 km to the east, and came to a gazebo. Looking up, there was a shady place where only birds were singing and no one saw it. There is a path paved with slate beside the pavilion, winding and secluded. Climb the steps of dozens of meters along this road to see the true face of Zixiao. The first thing you see is the majestic Tiantai Temple, which enshrines mysterious gods, the highest plough, earth demons and so on. At the east gate of Tiantai Temple, there is a rock 10 feet high, which looks like a lion standing upright with its head held high, and is called "Lion Rock". Next to it is a boulder that looks like a vase, with a century-old banyan tree growing on it. Gu Gan Lingyun was born out of rocks, with swaying roots and shady trees, which is very spectacular. This is Zixiao's "Banyan Tree on the Stone" Huashi Scenic Area. There is a stone under the fig tree on the stone. When you hit it, it sounds like a drum, so it is called "stone drum". When another stone is struck from different parts in turn, it will make several different tones. The world calls it "Qin Shi", also known as "Ten Tones Stone". There is a huge stone turtle outside the west gate of Tiantai Temple, guarding a stone gate. On the stone wall of Shimentou, there is a column of words "the mountain is above", which is vigorous and powerful; On both sides, there are couplets engraved with the words "Before the Thousand Peaks Hanging Rock, it is midnight outside the cloud". There are two ancient banyan trees in the east of Shimen, which are flourishing and full of vitality. These two branches are closely connected. They are called "Li Lianshu". Many young men and women come here from afar to take pictures or burn incense to worship, praying that they will be as close as a knot tree, love each other, grow old together and never part. There is a beautiful mountain peak to the west of Shimen. On the top of the mountain, there are lush trees, birds singing vines, grotesque rocks, indomitable arhat stones, dignified and solemn Guanyin stones, lifelike saddle stones and so on. And there is also a romantic and endless viewing platform. Two stone walls stand under the small mountain peak. Looking up, it is a "scene", looking down, like a canyon. This is the "Liuli Canyon". There is a cave at the end of Liu Lixia, which is deep and mysterious. There are strange stones such as stone boats and sails in front of the cave. Walking into Shimen, there is a smooth stone wall not far from you. On the stone wall, there is a poem named Zi Xiaoyan written by Zhao Yu, a student from Jiangxi Province in the Ming Dynasty: "In the past, flying sculptures were seen from the sky, and the sky was high." It is better to come back to the mountain today, and the cold pine and cypress show high standards. "There is a weedy stream behind the stone wall. The spring water is clear and sounds like Yu Pei; The flowing water gurgles like a lyre. There is a stone across a gap in the upper stream, which is shaped like a boat. Running water stirs stones, and the sound is like thunder, hence the name "Leishi". There is a kind of shrimp in the stream, all red, as if cooked; There is also a small snail that breeds in the stream. It seems that the snail's tail has been cut, which is extremely rare. It is said that they are all the remains of pre-glacial paleontology. There is a small and exquisite bridge on the stream, which is the famous "Tiantai Bridge". Standing on the bridge will make people feel cool, comfortable and relaxed.

After crossing Tiantai Bridge, you can enter Zixiao Temple from East Road and West Road respectively. Zixiao Temple has two main halls. Originally the Hall of Great Heroes, there were Sanqing Buddha, Guanyin Bodhisattva, Eighteen Arhats and so on. It is a place where Buddhism recites scriptures. Later, it was Xiangyun Hall, the supreme place of the Jade Emperor, and the place where Taoism preached. Every year on the ninth day of the first lunar month, the birthday of the Jade Emperor, and May 16, Zixiao Palace is very lively. Pilgrims come from all over the country, and the seal on Xiangyun Hall is filled with fragrance and fog, and they stay up all night. There is a releasing pool between the two temples. The water in the pond has tension and coins can float on the water. There is a "fairy well" on the east side of the release pond, which is about three feet deep and the water level has been kept at about one foot. It has the characteristics of "inexhaustible, endless drought, endless rainstorm" and "no turbidity." Out of the west gate of Xiangyun Hall, along a path, there is a cave. At the top of the cave is a huge stone, on which lies a stone turtle, which confronts a stone snake looking back from top to bottom, forming a vivid picture of "the turtle and snake lock the fairy cave", and the top of the cave is engraved with three Chinese characters "Zixiaoyan". The cave is spacious and bright. Are there any stone statues of ancestors in it? There is a clear spring under the stone statue, which is called "Jade Pot Pool". If tourists dip pine branches in the spring water in the pool and gently touch the face of the stone statue, the stone statue will smile at you with a natural, peaceful and respectful expression, which is really interesting. The cliff behind the cave is like a screen.

There is also a large natural cave near the peak, commonly known as "Taifucuo", hidden in a pine forest, with vines on the stone wall leading the way, and clouds on doors and windows are green everywhere. Near the top of Zixiao Mountain in the east of Taifucuo, there stands a huge stone with a plane of about 100 square meter, which looks like the hat of an ancient emperor. It is called "the emperor's hat" and also called "Long live the stone". There is a rhododendron on the stone, which is like a cloud when it is in full bloom, bright red and better than fire. "Long live the little red on the stone" is the unique landscape of Zixiao Mountain.
