If the pressure can be maintained, it means that the heating pipe is watertight. 2. Observe the change of pressure gauge.

Under normal circumstances, if it is determined that the floor heating leaks, the pressure gauge will generally drop in a short time. If it is determined that the leakage is slow, the pipeline should be stopped first. After the floor heating surface is cooled, the valves on the water separator should be closed respectively after hot water is injected, and the pressure gauge should be observed to confirm that there is no change.

3, determine the leakage loop

Open the valve of each loop separately and observe which loop has pressure relief phenomenon. Generally, the circuit with obvious depressurization is the leakage circuit. After determining the leaking loop, close all loops that are not leaking, then inject water into the floor heating pipeline, adjust the water temperature to the highest temperature, and circulate the floor heating water.

At this point, the pressure gauge will gradually lower. When heating, pay attention to keep the pressure value of the floor heating pipeline. After the leaky floor heating loop is started, the surface temperature will be measured by infrared thermometer. During the initial measurement, it will be found that there will be a certain temperature difference on the surface, which is generally linear, that is, the laying direction of the floor heating pipeline when it is installed.

4. Determine the water leakage point

With the extension of time, the surface temperature rises gradually, and the temperature of the pipeline that is determined to be leaking will rise very high, and a peak will be formed at the leakage point, where the temperature of the leakage point will be much higher than that of other parts of the pipeline. When determining the leakage area, the center point should be determined. Generally, the center of the water leakage point is usually the place with the highest temperature. Based on this, users can roughly determine the center position of water leakage, and then they can dig a small area of the ground to inspect and maintain the floor heating pipeline.

How to deal with the leakage of floor heating?

If you find that the floor heating leaks, please close the inlet and outlet valves immediately to avoid causing greater losses and even harm to the neighborhood.
