Xu Hu has successively won several national model workers.

Xu Hu won the national model worker five times in a row.

During my work in Xu Hu, I was rated as a national model worker for five times and a Shanghai model worker for two times, and was awarded the title of National Excellent Worker Representative and National Excellent party member. It was also rated as "100 people who touched China since the founding of New China" and "the leader of the times-the most influential model worker since the founding of New China".

Xu Hu, a plumber, started the voluntary box hanging service at night. Accompanied by the well-known phrase "I worked hard by myself, which facilitated thousands of families", "Xu Hu Spirit" was passed down from generation to generation.

Xu Hu's personal story:

1985, Xu Hu did the water and electricity maintenance work in Zhongshan North Road Housing Management Office for 10. In his own name, he sent 500 maintenance service inquiries to nearby residents, and learned that it was common for dual-income families to go to work during the day, so Xu Hu decided to provide volunteer service at night.

On June 23rd, 1985, three night maintenance service boxes were hung up in Xu Hu, and a notice was written: If the residents of nearby public houses encounter emergency repairs of water and electricity at night, please write a note and put it in the box, and I will serve you. Unpacking time: every night at 7: 00, Xu Hu Zhongshan North Road Housing Management Office.

In 2002, Xu Hu was transferred to Shanghai West Enterprise Group as the property director. Although the post and role have changed, the professional creed of "one person works hard and thousands of people are convenient" remains the same as before.
