Wuxi University is a public undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education, managed by Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, organized by Wuxi Municipal People's Government and supported by Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology. Its predecessor was Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology Binjiang College, which was founded in May 2002. Adhering to the school-running philosophy of "open development, coordinated development and characteristic development", the school has built a trinity school-running system of Wuxi University and University Science Park.

The school is located at No.333 Xishan Avenue, Wuxi City, adjacent to the core area of Dong Xi New Town, Wuxi East High-speed Railway Station and Sunan Shuofang International Airport, with superior geographical location and beautiful scenery. The campus covers an area of 1 100 mu, with a total construction area of 335,000 square meters. It is a modern intelligent campus, ecological campus, humanistic campus and low-carbon campus. At present, there are more than 65438+100000 undergraduates, nearly 300 international students, and more than 700 graduate students are jointly trained with Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology.

The school meets the needs of local economic and social development.
