The owner has no right to spot check the property monitoring equipment. Under special circumstances, they can only check after performing certain procedures. Although the surveillance video materials belong to all owners, some of them involve the interests of other owners. Based on the requirements for privacy protection of all owners, individual owners have no right to extract surveillance video materials for viewing, as follows:

1. In general, without special circumstances, community owners are not allowed to apply for community monitoring at will;

2. If the owner is infringed, it is really necessary to check and monitor. Property must first confirm the true identity of the owner. Secondly, the property has the responsibility to confirm the time, place and nature of the infringement of the owner's rights and interests, and then provide the owner with video information of the specific time and place. With the consent of the property supervisor, it can be checked with the personnel designated by the property.

3. If the property is really not allowed to be viewed, you can also call 1 10 to report to the police, and under the on-site supervision of the public security department, shoot some monitoring screen shots related to related matters and provide them to the owner for viewing or copying.

The purpose of residential installation monitoring is to ensure the property safety of all owners. Although the monitoring data belongs to all owners, when part of the monitoring data involves the rights and interests of individual owners, individual owners can extract the monitoring data through the public security organ or copy the monitoring data related to related affairs under the on-site supervision of the public security department, based on the consideration of privacy protection of other owners.
