Gaomi city is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Weifang (prefecture-level city), which is the easternmost part of Weifang, adjacent to Qingdao in the middle of Shandong Peninsula. Gaomi is about the midpoint of the connecting line between Weifang and Qingdao, which means that the distance from Gaomi to Weifang is the same as that from Qingdao.
